I just retired as a NWS meteorologist. My weather station (using the weewx program on Linux) used to report through CWOP and was registered through MADIS. I recall years ago going through all the necessary loops to get it flowing on MADIS. A couple of years ago my server went out and stopped sending the CWOP data stream. I had forgotten the process to get registered into MADIS so I thank you for writing it up so thoroughly.

There are two ways to do it. You can run WeeWx weather software and use its interceptor driver. Weewx will then send to CWOP. The other way is if you add an ObserverIP and a WeatherBridge (or Meteobridge) you can then have these stations report to CWOP.
